The Village School is founded on the principles of mindfulness and seeks to uphold and abide by our core values of compassion, acceptance and resilience. We believe that a peaceful environment, where the core values are embraced, nourishes learning and expression, allowing academic potential to be realized.

Therapeutic Day School

Core Values and Services

Manchester Village School is an innovative therapeutic day school in the Northshire. We are an academically focused, clinically informed choice for families and local education administrators of children in grades 1 through 12. 

Manchester Village School is an approved, independent school. We award high school diplomas upon completion of graduation requirements. All of our teachers are licensed or deemed highly qualified by the Vermont Agency of Education. Our therapeutic component is developed and delivered by a licensed psychologist.

The Village School is endorsed by the Vermont Agency of Education to serve the educational needs of general education students as well as students with the following special needs: Specific Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disability, Developmental Delay, Other Health Impairment, Speech and Language Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Impairments, Traumatic Brain Injury.
